RSVP for Masterclass in Activism with Christian Davenport and Chloë Cheyenne on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
The Center for Racial Justice is excited to host Masterclass in Activism with Christian Davenport and Chloë Cheyenne on Tuesday, March 5 at 4:30pm. Christian and Chloë will be in conversation surrounding CommunityX, a digital platform for activism founded by Chloë. This event will also be live-streamed on the event page.

Chloë Cheyenne is a tech innovator who is passionate about social change. Chloe is the Founder of COMMUNITYx — the World’s Hub for Digital Activism. COMMUNITYx connects likeminded changemakers to take collective action on causes. The COMMUNITYx App addresses the gap between information and action, by creating a space where people can talk about real issues that matter and mobilize to actually do something about them, all in one space. She graduated from The Howard University School of Business Honors Program in 2013 with a BBA in International Business and Marketing.

Christian Davenport is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan as well as a Faculty Associate at the Center for Political Studies and Research Professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). Christian's primary research interests include political conflict (e.g., human rights violations, genocide/politicide, torture, political surveillance, civil war and social movements), measurement, racism and popular culture. Prof. Davenport is currently working on numerous books: Stopping State Repression (with Ben Appel); In Search of a Number: Rethinking Rwanda, 1994 (with Allan Stam); and, Understanding Untouchability (with numerous authors).
