2016 Tau Beta Sigma Northeast District Counselor's Award Finalist Report
Congratulations on your selection as a finalist for the 2016 Tau Beta Sigma Northeast District Counselor's Award! Your chapter is eligible because it maintained good standing throughout the 2015-2016 school year; all district and national paperwork, including dues, were submitted on time; and you're on your way to surpassing your own chapter's measure of success.

As a finalist, you are expected to complete the following report to be submitted prior to Northeast District Convention, as well as make a presentation at District Convention for the TBS NED Counselor's Award Selection Committee. The report and presentation must be completed in full and on time in order for your chapter to remain eligible for this award.

REPORT: Due March 7, 2016
Your report will be reviewed by the TBS NED Counselor's Award Selection Committee in advance of the 2016 Northeast District Convention. Please keep your responses clear and concise as the committee has a short time in which to evaluate all finalists. You will have an opportunity to further showcase your chapter in your presentation. This report is an opportunity to showcase demographics, activities, programs, and projects that your chapter participates in.

PRESENTATION: To take place during District Convention, with exact times to be announced by March 17, 2016
Your presentation will be evaluated by the TBS NED Counselor's Award Selection Committee at the 2016 Northeast District Convention. Only three individuals may present on behalf of your chapter (Active, Associate, or Conditional members only), and the presentation must be no longer than seven minutes in length (including setup and takedown) followed by a three minute Q&A from the committee. It's expected that your presentation be professional, but creativity is strongly encouraged. Props, posters, media, and various technology may be used, but it's not required. The room where you present will not have any audio visual equipment available. This presentation is an opportunity to bring to life the amazing contributions your chapter makes on behalf of the sorority.

It is recommended that your entire chapter works together to complete this report and prepare the presentation. Be sure to describe what each question requires in full, but keep responses clear and concise. All writing should be high-quality and free from errors. Your report will be made available at a later date to the Northeast District of Tau Beta Sigma as an example of best practices of strong chapters in the district. Remember that this is a district award, so special consideration will be given to those chapters who participate actively in district and national programs.

The committee will select the strongest finalist and present the award at the 2016 Northeast District Convention banquet.

Feel free to contact TBS NED Counselors Anthony Barbir and Allison Leemann at nedcounselor@tbsigma.org with questions.
