The purpose of Healthy Families America Quality Assurance and Accreditation is to ensure that the Healthy Families America name, and sites using the name, represent a deep and abiding commitment to delivering the highest quality services possible to families and children. As the HFA initiative continues to grow and expand, Quality Assurance and Accreditation helps assure that HFA will continue to be regarded by the interested public as an evidence-based home visiting model.

HFA Accreditation is public recognition by PCA America that affiliated home visiting sites and state systems are following best practice standards as established by over 30 years of research.

If you're interested in attending this training AND becoming a Peer Reviewer, please fill out the following application and send all of the compiled (not separate and incomplete) requirements (listed on the last page of the following document) to Maritza Noriega at mnoriega@preventchildabuse.org.

Benefits of Being an HFA Peer Reviewer:

Being a peer reviewer provides many unique opportunities for professional development. Peers participate in training on quality assurance and HFA best practice standards. Because of their unique role within the HFA initiative, peer reviewers collectively form a network of skilled professionals, all sharing a deep commitment to continuous quality improvement and Healthy Families America. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the site visits conducted by peer reviewers provide each peer with an opportunity to see how other sites have implemented best practices.

• Registration is limited to 10 individuals and is filled on a first come, first serve basis.
• Registration is NOT COMPLETE until HFA receives payment for your training slot. You will be invoiced soon after completing your registration.
• HFA will notify the network in the coming months about other Peer Reviewer trainings throughout the U.S.
