UWVC - Flag Day Parade - 2019
Join the UWVC team, veterans and volunteers as we walk from City Hall Park to Fraunces Tavern for the route (about 0.8 miles) of the 2019 NYC Flag Day Parade!

The event concludes with a Flag Day Ceremony (kids reading their winning Flag Day essays, singing patriotic songs) led by the Sons of the Revolution in front of Fraunces Tavern Museum (near the corners of Pearl Street and Broad Street).

Please wear sunscreen, wear your best red, white and blue, as well as comfortable shoed. Bring along snacks and water if necessary.

The UWVC team received a donation of thousands of American flags, perfect for this event!

Volunteer photographers are encouraged to attend!

We’ll meet at City Hall Park (not inside the gates/security, but outside, nearer the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall 4/5/6/ train station at 11:30 am). The parade begins at 12 noon, with the ceremony at the museum starting nearer to 12:30pm.

Please call Lindsey (646.584.0037) if you do not immediately see the UWVC team.
