MakerspaceCT Winter 2018 Scholarship Application
We Are Offering Free Educational Opportunities For Aspiring Makers! Through a grant collaboration with Innovation Places/CTNext and McEIVR, Inc., MakerspaceCT is offering tools and classes to enable hardware and software development through the offering of introductory and intermediate classes at no cost beginning November 2018.

This access will enable students, entrepreneurs, women, innovators and anyone interested to learn and use tools for developing prototypes and innovations, using on site equipment and materials with professionals.

Instructors provide on-site, learning opportunities. Upcoming classes include*:

11/28: Intro To TinkerCAD
12/3: Intro To Arduino
12/5: Intro To 3D Scanning
12/6: Intro To 3D Printing
12/10-12/11: Intro To Raspberry Pi
12/17-12/18: Raspberry Pi: Build A Web Server
12/19-12/20: 3D Scanning: Photogrammetry with 3DFZephyr

*Class schedule is tentative and subject to change. After you apply, we'll provide info and instructions on class registration.

Classes will continue to be offered throughout the Winter and Spring of 2019. Schedules to be announced. All workshops at the MakerspaceCT facility at 960 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut.

Each applicant that is accepted into the program will attend free-of-charge thanks to a scholarship grant program administered by Innovation Places/CTNEXT. The scholarship gives accepted students access to classes offered by MakerspaceCT (based on availability) through June 30, 2018. Students will also have access to a six month membership to MakerspaceCT once our doors open in 2019.

Eligibility Criteria: To be accepted into this program, you must an Adult 18+ currently residing in Connecticut. Space is limited, application does not guarantee your acceptance. Once acceptance is confirmed you will have access to online class enrollment.
