Omo Child Volunteer Teacher Application
Ethiopian education regulations require English language instruction as well as instruction in science and math in English.  Omo Child Primary School would like to offer its children access to quality teachers who speak English fluently.  To this end, we are taking applications for volunteer teachers for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school year.

Position Requirements:

-Teaching certification (BA, BS, TEFL/TESOL etc.)

-Experience teaching children

-Good lesson planning and execution skills (textbook provided)

-Desire to help children develop to their full potential

-Desire to live and work in a foreign country and culture

We will consider applicants with no formal teaching degree if there is equivalent experience.

Omo Child will provide one round-trip airline ticket between your home country and Jinka, Ethiopia.  All other expenses, including additional travel, housing, and food, will be your responsibility. Do you understand and agree? *
