𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊 𝐃𝐓𝐒𝐀
ᴘʀᴇsᴇɴᴛᴇᴅ ʙʏ ʜʏᴘᴇ ᴘʀɪᴇsᴛᴇss
📍 222 W. 2nd St. Santa Ana, CA 92701
Every 3rd Saturday of the Month
✦ 5PM to 10PM ✦
It is our intention at Witch Walk to bring an expansive collection of vendors who may or may not identify as Witches, although it should be noted that Witch-owned businesses are prioritized here. In addition, we proudly offer the opportunity to feature Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, LGBTQ+, age, body type, all-ability, any gender, migrant, and immigrant-owned businesses.
We aim to do the following:
✦ to cater to the local communities in which Witch Walk exists
✦ to bring a safe space for all to exist cohesively while respecting each individual's culture, ancestry, and lineage, owning that we are all individuals apart of a larger collective
✦ to give a realistic viewpoint from witches and healers in our community, to normalize witchcraft, and showcase that everyone has not only the power to heal themselves, but also the power to take their life in their own hands, and to be apart of a supportive community that works in an effort to not cause harm.
✦ Create awareness around each individual’s cultural practice, performed by people of that Heritage
✦ We ask our vendors with the most sincere kindness to their personal practice to evaluate their for-profit practices, services, and items with the most sensitive of cultural lenses, before arriving to our platform to sell goods that could potentially cause harm to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color
We are actively taking back our power as Witches, Womxn, BIPOC, and marginalized entrepreneurs who have been silenced through Euro-centric colonial mindsets, "Witch-Hunts," and walls that serve to exclude and to harm.
We recognize that sometimes "activism" and "politics" can cast a shadow over the "culture" and "community" aspects. Our first and foremost priority will always be the cultures of the communities in which our event is held. We choose to teach, not police, “call out,” or “cancel”, even when it is uncomfortable.
If guests and vendors cannot, do not, or will not agree, this is not the event for them. We respectfully enact the right to refuse service to anyone.
We know we cannot fix the world, but this is a space where we can make moves towards righting the wrongs that impact our community and the world around us.
I read & understand the Witch Walk Mission Statement.
if you do not understand our Mission Statement &/or have any questions.
I understand that my business needs to either have public social media account(s) or an up-to-date website/webstore to complete the application process.
I understand that this is an application NOT a guarantee of any kind, that it can take upwards of 2 WEEKS for a response, & if approved, I will still need to complete the Registration & Checkout process.
I understand that my business will need to obtain a Santa Ana GRATUITOUS BUSINESS LICENSE, if I do not already have a business license with the city of Santa Ana (Gratuitous Business License is good for the Calendar year and is pro-rated. This form will need to be filled out again in January of each year.)
