Time: 6-8pm (has been known to go later for those that want to stay!)Event Address: 849 N. Franklin St. - 1st Floor Community RoomContact: (312) 543-0133
I'm basing this loosely on the concept of The Peoples Supper that was started in January 2017 as a way to build stronger communities, filled with diverse groups of people: https://thepeoplessupper.org
I am shaking this up a bit and asking people to submit questions for the fun discussion! For those that have never attended, part of the evening is spent pulling questions out of a cup that the group uses to get to know each other better and engage more deeply through storytelling. These can be anything that's on your mind but have been afraid to ask! Examples: "What would be different if the 9/11 terrorist attack never occurred?", "Describe a moment of kindness that really meant something to you.", "What is the right thing to say: Black, African American, Person of Color?" I think it’s a great extension of our SEED work and a fun way to build community! It will be a potluck and BYOB. Bringing something is not mandatory. It will be very casual. Adults only.
Please bring people with you to join in the conversation! All are welcome at our table.
