The
Student Data Privacy Law was put in place starting the 2022-2023 School year; we are required by law to post all Digital Resources such as software, apps, websites, extensions and online tools that our District utilizes which involve our students; directly or indirectly. Cannon Falls School District is committed to protecting
the privacy of each student. We had 30 days from the start of school to post a
listing of all digital resources we use or that the students use; this list can be found on our school website under the District ->Annual Notices menu.
If you want to use a resource that is not on the list, first it is important that you review the Terms of Service and Privacy policies for the app you are requesting to ensure that it is age appropriate for your students. Then please fill out the Digital Resource Request Form. The form can be found on our website under the District -> Staff menu. The request will be reviewed by the Principals or Administration. If approved, it will be communicated to IT and the requestor. This is still relatively new to everyone so please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.
