Community Manager (Intern)

We are looking for an intern (or two) to join our team to take on the exciting role of evangelising and growing our brand online.

The candidate needs to have bags of positive energy, be creative, organised, carry masses of integrity, willing to learn new digital skills, and most significantly be passionate about creating social impact in education (at scale).

About AttendApp

AttendApp (www.attendapp.org) is a 'PRM', a Parent Relationship Management Tool which allows Schools to inform, engage and measure parental engagement in a social and secure way across mobile technologies. We believe by increasing parental engagement, schools can improve their overall performance more importantly create a better schooling community.

We've received recognition and support from organisation’s such as UnLtd, The New Entrepreneurs Foundation, Deloitte and UCL, and soon to join a leading incubator. We are a London based EdTech Startup founded by a super experienced team of technologists and high growth leaders, now looking to rapidly grow the AttendApp family.

We're now working on version 2, some (secretive) technology which looks and learns from academic data to enhance student outcomes.

High level job requirements:

- Regular content creation (posts, videos, PR etc)
- Manage social profiles (blog, facebook, twitter)
- Nurture sales leads
- Identify key thought leaders, events in the space
- Attend and organise networking events in the London startup space
- Run product demo and training sessions and workshops

Self-Starter
- You do what you love!
- Credibility is earned at AttendApp through execution and getting things done.
- You are able to get into the details and deliver high quality results.
- Organisational and multi-tasking skills to manage the role alongside studies.

Customer-Centric
- Ability to identify customers and onboard them to the AttendApp Platform.
- Takes an innovator and creator’s approach to customer issues.
- Stakeholder empathy, understand every type of customer and how to work with them.

Education Champion
- Someone who loves the power of education and wants to support its growth.
- Potentially want to work in the Education space upon graduation (and most likely during studies).

The role is an (unpaid) internship position for a minimum 3 months, and if you can prove yourself as a invaluable individual to the team will lead on to a paid position. The role will require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.

This role is ideal for someone looking to get into digital marketing, business analytics, PR or media. You will gain some grounding knowledge, network, and skills required for any top company or startup.
