APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Rules and Procedures for the 2026 Gina Bachauer Junior and Young Artists International Competitions may be found on the Bachauer website: www.Bachauer.com.

Please refer to the Rules and Procedures carefully for guidance as you complete this application. Selected details are listed below and are not meant to represent all the Rules and Procedures for the competitions.

In this application, we ask for a list of your  Screening Round repertory that will be included on the videos that you will submit.

You will also be asked to submit a likely list of your Preliminary Round repertory.  If you are invited to perform in the Preliminary Round, you will later have the opportunity to make changes to your Preliminary Round repertory.

You will also be asked to give your choice of venue city if chosen to perform in the Preliminary Round: Hamburg, New York City, Seoul, Shanghai, or Salt Lake City. You will likely not be able to change your choice due to scheduling concerns for each city.

If you are invited to perform in the Solo Rounds, you will later have the opportunity to provide us with the repertory for the remaining rounds.

Please have your video files, publicity photo, and legal identification ready for upload before you begin this application. Upload instructions are given in this application.

Please also determine if you wish to pay the $175 USD application fee via GiveButter (with options for credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or bank ACH), directly through PayPal, directly through Venmo, or by wire transfer. More instructions are given in this application.

We understand that wire transfers may take extra time to reach us. If this is your preferred method of payment, please initiate the transfer at the earliest opportunity. If the application, videos, and other materials are submitted by the deadline, your application will be considered valid, even if the payment has not yet been received.

For proper communication, it is best that each application have a unique email. Otherwise, our system will only recognize the most recent names associated with that email when communicating with the applicant.
