Approval must be granted by your building principal and/or immediate supervisor PRIOR to Board of Education approval.

ALL workshops requiring a payment or an absence MUST be Board of Education approved PRIOR to the workshop.

Staff is NOT to register or pay for any workshop, unless otherwise determined by the Curriculum Office.


Be reminded:
  - The administration reserves the right to deny a request to attend a workshop if it does not apply directly to the staff member's position.
  - The district will NOT approve out-of-state professional development.
  - The district will NOT approve a multi-day professional development event that requires an overnight stay, except under specific circumstances.  
  - The district will approve one Professional Day and allow the employee to use one Personal Day in the event that a staff member wishes to attend a multi-day workshop.
