The tutoring program's goal is to provide a kind and supportive learning environment where an English language learner and tutor can practice English conversation or any skills the student wishes to learn. This is done through relationship-building, intentional planning, and shining the light of Christ in each session.

Applicants go through an orientation to tutoring ESL, are given resources for tutoring, and are then matched with a student at a mutually convenient time. Volunteers can choose to meet their students either remotely online or in person at Pui Tak Center. We ask for a weekly commitment of 1-2 hours a week over a period of at least 12 sessions.
