For U13 - U19 teams:  We also understand that we must fill in and submit a Post Season Commitment Form for our team.  Should we agree to attend Post Season via the form and then withdraw after the deadline we understand that our team will be assessed a fee ranging from $500 - $2500.  Post Season Forms will be on the EMSA website and emailed to you once we have confirmation of Post Season competitions.  Provincial competitions can be located around the Province.  The financial obligations of traveling for Provincials will be discussed with the families of our players by the team officials before we commit.

I.D CARDS:

• Soccer I.D. cards can be shown on an electronic device (phone, tablet, camera).  You can download a team list of cards from the Portal  (if you use EMSA cards).  Please see season info on EMSA website for instructions.

• Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers must show their card/e-card prior to the start of the game otherwise they are not allowed in the technical area and must sit with the spectators for the entire game even if the card arrives late.

• Players have until the end of the game to produce their card/e-card.

• NO other forms of I.D. are accepted for team officials or players.  You must have an official EMSA or District I.D. card/e-card in order to participate.

*

GAME SHEETS:

• Games sheets are to be downloaded from the EMSA website.  The home team and the away team must print off their own game sheet for every game.  If a team cannot produce a game sheet prior to kick off time, the game will be defaulted and an admin fee will be applied.  Please ensure your team prints off extra blank game sheets from the EMSA website and keeps them in your kit just in case.

• Please ensure you are completely filling out your game sheets to avoid the admin fee being issued.  Have someone from your team take a second look just to make sure you haven’t missed anything.

• CROSS OFF any players and team officials that are listed on the game sheet but are not present at the game.

• Trialist Forms need to be turned into the referee prior to the player commencing play.

• The REFEREE is responsible for taking both team’s game sheets along with any trialist or permission forms for both teams and they will arrange to submit it to the EMSA Office.

• It is your responsibility to check your game sheet at the end of the game to ensure the referee has recorded all goals, scores and infractions correctly on the game sheet.  If this is missed and there is an issue, we will contact the referee to see if they can remember correctly.  However, if they can't the game sheet will remain as marked from the game.  So please ensure you are verifying your game sheets and especially any yellow or red cards.

*

GAME SCORING:

The home team is responsible for scoring the game in the EMSA Portal by 1pm the day after the game.  Instructions are listed on the EMSA website under season info.  Only those team officials listed on the roster will have access to the EMSA Portal to score games.

*

TRIALISTS/GUEST PLAYERS:

Please ensure you have read and fully understand the trialist/guest player rules of EMSA.  If you play an illegal trialist you will default the game.  If there is any question whether or not a player is eligible to be a trialist on your team, please contact EMSA to confirm ahead of your game during office hours.

Maximum 3 trialists can be used per game.  The trialist must be on another registered EMSA team that is also participating in regular league play.  The trialist can be used for a maximum of 5 games for your team.
