The Suzuki Association of Georgia will award four-five student scholarships this year!
One Malachi Foster Memorial Scholarship ($1000) & Two Stefanie Graef Memorial Scholarships ($500 each)
The scholarships are open to all Suzuki students who intend to participate in the Atlanta Suzuki Institute in the summer of 2026. Students/families must be members of SAGA, and students must study with a SAGA teacher member to be eligible to apply. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by April 2nd.
Requirements are as follows:
1. Prepare a video recording of a polished selection from the Suzuki repertoire at your level to be reviewed by a committee of three SAGA teacher members. Piano accompaniment is not required.
2. Complete this online application form by Monday, March 16, 2026.
3. Have your private teacher submit a letter of recommendation via email to
suzukiassociationofgeorgia@gmail.com by Monday, March 16, 2026.
A note about videos: students will be evaluated on tone, knowledge of the performed piece, intonation, posture, and musicianship. Please keep these things in mind when choosing a recording device and recording location.
