Creative Week is an open, accessible layer on top of the city, bringing together independent events, community initiatives, and selected flagship side events into one visible whole.

Anyone can take part. Artists, collectives, venues, and organizations are invited to submit events, formats, or experiments that activate Helsinki through creativity.

How it works

Open call for ideas
You can submit an event, concept, or creative experiment to be part of Creative Week. Submissions are open to artists, collectives, venues, organizations, and communities.

One shared city view
All approved events are published on a single city-wide map, built in collaboration with Reveel, making the full Creative Week program easy to discover and explore.

Official side events
Alongside open submissions, a small number of official ODD side events will be produced together with partners.

Creative Week is an open invitation to fill the city with ideas and see what happens when everything connects.
Some key public spaces are reserved especially for Creative Week, including Kampin Kappeli and Oodi’s Saarikoski-matto.
