Luminescence 2025 Submission Form
Open to ages 12-18, Luminescence has traditionally been an international teen film festival highlighting local teens in Palo Alto, but for the 4th year in a row, we will be opening up the local submissions and turning our festival into a celebration of teen filmmakers around the greater San Francisco Bay Area!

Luminescence is free to enter. Selected films will be shown in front of an audience the evening of March 7th, 2025 at the Palo Alto Children's Theatre in Palo Alto, CA where prizes will be awarded to the top films. The creators of all the films are encouraged to attend as there will be an opportunity for open discussion with the audience about their work.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS MARCH 3

Submission requirements are as follows:
- Films must be original & your own work.
- Filmmakers should fall between 12 and 18 years of age as well as all actors & crew involved in the film.
- Films should stay below PG-13 requirements. (use this like to help you make sure your film would not be rated R or above https://www.filmratings.com/Content/Downloads/rating_rules.pdf)
- Run time should be no longer than 10 minutes.
