Register as a Host or Host Organisation
Svadhyaya's Youth Circles Initiative wishes to promote dialogue across different spaces and further inspire folks to take action. Our team strongly believes that the purpose of having such spaces shall be defeated if such circles become unsafe, exclusionary and partisan to a specific sector ideology. Hence, to make sure that Svadhyaya's Youth Circles remain safe & inclusive spaces, all the interested host(s) or host organisations shall go through an elaborate process of induction, wherein our team shall assist them with the best practices and other training if required. To register as a host or host organiser/ representative of the host organisation, please  fill this form as per the instructions provided.

What is Svadhyaya’s Youth Circles Initiative?

Svadhyaya's Youth Circles initiative is a medium to promote dialogue at the grassroots level, among young folks about issues which concern our communities at large. Youth circles would enable every participant to share their perspectives, thoughts and experiences with others, promoting a holistic & inclusive global conversation.

Svadhyaya’s Youth Circles would be easy to organise & decentralised, wherein, Svadhyaya Youth Organisation would provide support and outreach assistance, to all the organisations/ people who register as ‘host(s)'. Primarily, such Youth Circles would be encouraging dialogue about issues concerning our environment, climate change and human rights. However, deviation from this standard is permitted, as long as the discourse empowers individuals to "play a vital role in their development as well as in that of their communities, helping them to learn vital life-skills, develop knowledge on human rights and citizenship and to promote positive civic action."

Frequency & Format

The youth circles can be hosted as per the comfort of the hosting organisations or organisers.  However, it must be ensured that at-least one circle be hosted once in every two months. Moreover, hosting one circle per month is actively encouraged. The host organisations or organisers can decide on the overall format for the circle sessions, after keeping in mind the suggested core structure, which shall be mentioned in the Annexure 1.
Inclusion Policy

Svadhyaya is an affirmative action organisation which actively promotes inclusion of people from diverse backgrounds specifically based on caste, geographical region, colour, gender, gender expression, race, sexual orientation, class, religion, disability, among others. Although we do understand that we are not yet the 'most' inclusive place, due to the limitaions ingrained with the nature of our working system, however we are constantly trying to improve.
Accessibility & Accommodation

We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. Reasonable accommodations are available, on request. Please let us know and we will try our best to make the selection process accessible for you.
