Some thoughts to guide what may fit with our conference and attendees:

We are seeking lectures and workshops at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels. As a presenter, you will need to keep in mind that your topic will need to speak to volunteer management professionals across a wide array of organizations. It is important that your topic translates to this diverse audience.

This year, we have compiled a list of requested presentation topics based on feedback from our 2025 post conference survey. This list is available for review here (this should only be used as a loose guide when selecting a topic proposal). This document also highlights why attendees say the CCOV provides a unique experience for them that they can’t find anywhere else. There are a wide range of topics we know will resonate with our 2025 attendees so prospective presenters should propose presentations they are both passionate about and qualified to speak on. Selection Criteria and Process:
We will select workshops and lectures that effectively address the concepts through clarity, originality, and practical application. Proposals will undergo a peer review process.

Reminders: 

• All Session slots are 60 minutes (which should include room for Q&A)
• All proposals must be received by February 27, 2026
• The CCOV committee will notify selected speakers no later than March, 2026
