Description:

Vale do Lobo is a beautiful coastal resort in the heart of the Algarve, Portugal, known for its golden beaches, dramatic red cliffs, and lush green landscapes. The area is surrounded by rolling hills, pine forests, and scenic walking paths, offering plenty of opportunities to explore nature.

Our retreat house is a large, traditional holiday home. Tucked away from the main road and with panoramic views of the Algarve hills, you can enjoy the quiet and greenery of the region.

The property has over 15 rooms, three living/dining rooms for communal writing space, and three outdoor terraces to enjoy meals outside. The property also has a large pool.

The beach is a 15-minute walk away, perfect for a writing break.

All prices are inclusive of:

5 days or uninterrupted writing time
5 carefree nights in a cozy house
Vegan or vegetarian meals and snacks, made for you by someone who is as passionate about cooking as you are about writing
Unlimited coffee and tea
Use of the private swimming pool to unwind and get inspired

Prices are excluding:

Travel insurance
Transportation to the location (we will connect you with other retreat guests to share a taxi from the Faro airport)

Cancellation policy:

In case of cancellation after you've paid the fees, we cannot give you a refund, unless you find someone to take your spot. We will of course help you find someone to take your spot, but we cannot guarantee it.
