We invite you to participate in the "Sakartvelo SOS: Eastern Europe experience for Georgia" project organized by Daily Humanity and NGO "Insight".

In the context of the approaching parliamentary elections in Georgia on October 26, 2024, and the growing challenges to democracy, we aim to create a platform for exchanging experiences between public figures and journalists of Georgia and their colleagues from Ukraine and other Eastern European countries.

The project includes a series of 2 online meetings that will take place on September 26 and October 10, 2024. The meetings will be dedicated to the exchange of experience and the development of practical recommendations for countering a possible usurpation of power and the protection of democratic freedoms, as well as the formation of an information and solidarity campaign.

We invite you to join this project as a participant or expert. Your experience and knowledge will be invaluable to our colleagues from Georgia, who are currently facing serious challenges. This event is for you if you live in Georgia or work to help Georgian journalists or civil society actors.

The event will be closed to the public due to potential risks. You can access it only when the registration form is submitted and approved.
