At ASSET Education we need to use and store some information about you and your child. The General Data Protection Regulations that became law in 2018 mean we need to seek your explicit consent for certain things. In order for the schools to function, we need to hold your contact information on our database and in order for teachers to be able to do their jobs they need to hold pupil details including names, dates of birth and other information relating to assessment.

We will not need your consent in order for us to continue to:

-- store your contact information on our systems in order to be able to contact you in case of emergency or to discuss your child’s learning
-- send you an email or text giving you information about your child’s learning or school day
-- use your child’s photo or film them as part of a lesson or normal classroom learning activity within the school (photos are only be kept beyond the duration of a project if used as evidence of the quality of teaching and learning for an Ofsted or similar inspection)

We will not pass on your contact details to any third parties without seeking your consent to do so.
