Working Days: Monday – Saturday (2 Saturdays in a month)

Working Hours: 8am – 5:30pm (Mon – Fri)

Saturdays: 8am – 2:30pm (Two Saturdays Monthly)

Position Summary
As an Accountant at Smartie Marketing & Media, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the overall financial health of the company. Your responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
At Smartie Marketing & Media, we value work ethic, coach-ability, positive attitude, and past results you’ve delivered significantly more than your degree (or lack thereof), GPA, etc.

Required:
  • Proven experience as an accountant
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:
Relevant professional certifications 
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry
  • Familiarity with tax regulations
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
  • Efficient problem-solving skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial transactions and accounts payable/receivable
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial-related matters
  • Stock inventory management 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Participate in audits and ensure financial transparency
  • Assist in strategic financial planning
Remuneration
N200,000 - 300,000; commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
