The Lt. Governor's Computing Challenge (LGCC) invites educators  to register as a Challenge Champion! 
Challenge Champions serve as LGCC ambassadors and receive rewards (gift cards!) for their efforts!

CHALLENGE CHAMPION ELIGIBILITY & RESTRICTIONS: 

All educators can apply to be a Challenge Champion. Once confirmed as a Challenge Champion, you can then set out to meet your LGCC goal based on your level selection. (Note: Preference will be given to applicants from Alliance District schools.) ​​

GOAL: Support student project submissions to the LGCC (group and/or individual) from your school.

Levels:

  • Challenge Spark: Support 15 or more completed student projects for a $100 Amazon gift card 

  • Challenge Flame: Support 25 or more completed student projects for a $150 Amazon gift card 

  • Challenge Beacon: Support 35 or more completed student projects for a $200 Amazon gift card 

The Challenge Champion who secures the most entries will be deemed the 2026 INFOSYS FOUNDATION USA STAR CHAMPION and receive a $500 cash prize in addition to the gift card reward!!!   

Challenge Champions are: 
- Able to represent up to 3 different schools within your district
- Limited to 1 Champion per school
- On a first-come, first-served basis (based on awards available)
- Allowed to work in other grades, but LGCC participants are limited to students in grades 3-12 

Deadline to register as a Challenge Champion for the LGCC 2025-26 season is: Friday, January 30, 2026.
