2SLGBTQIA+ MRU students are invited to apply to present on two student panels. Students can present research, writing, and/or creative work such as honours’ theses (or proposals), course work, artistic pieces, or their student organizing and community work.
Each student who is selected to present will receive a $50 Gift Card in thanks for their time and contributions.
The presentation submissions will be assessed by QriTical faculty on the following criteria:
1) Connection to 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, themes, and/or theories
2) Attention to intersecting relations of power such as racism, colonialism, classism, etc.
3) Overall contribution to the panel, including diversity of panelists and presentation topics
We are accepting submissions until Thursday, March 7th.
The colloquium will also feature a curated digital display where students can showcase their creative projects (e.g., videos, images) and/or conference poster-style pieces. We will accept all display submissions that connect to 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, themes, and/or theories.
