Research Trainee Scholarship Application
The International Research Consortium for the Corpus Callosum and Cerebral Connectivity (IRC5) is pleased to present the Cortical Connections Conference on June 13-14, 2019 at the Imagine Institute in Paris, France. This 2-day conference will include presentations by leading researchers and clinicians who are studying mechanisms and genetics of neurodevelopment, diagnostic and research neuroimaging, and clinical outcomes in corpus callosum anomalies.

IRC5 Mission: to discover the causes, consequences, and effective interventions, for disorders of the corpus callosum (DCC) and associated disorders of cerebral connectivity.

A limited number of scholarships are available for this event.

Applicants must be:
• currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate program, post-doctoral fellowship or medical residency
• conducting research into the causes, consequences, or interventions for developmental disorders of the corpus callosum (e.g. in related to medical, genetic, neurological, psychological, cognitive, behavioral, developmental and educational issues)
• enthusiastic about research and intellectually curious!

Scholarship Information
The Cortical Connections Trainee Scholarship includes complimentary conference registration, lunch on both conference days, and three (3) nights hotel lodging. Scholarship recipients from outside of France may also receive up to $500 toward travel.

Scholarship recipients are required to present their research at the poster session during the Thursday afternoon lunch break. Four abstracts will also be selected for 10-minute presentations as part of the regular conference program.

The IRC5 Administrative Working Group will consider all Scholarship Applications received by May 5, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email no later than May 15, 2019.
