Thank you for your interest in the Young Hoosier committee. Being on the committee is a wonderful opportunity to serve the children of Indiana by helping select the books that will nominees on the Young Hoosier list. You will also get exposure to a variety of books, participate in professional discussions, obtain PGP and/or LEU points. and have a really good excuse to read a lot of books!
Committee Requirements and Responsibilities include:
Must attend the Spring Kick Off Meeting (1st Saturday in March)
Must attend the Fall Selection Meeting (Saturday after Labor Day)
Read Assigned Books (amount varies depending on the committee level)
Complete assigned resource sheets for 1-2 books that are chosen for the official list

Serve up to 3 years before rotating off of the committee (with an option to return)
Filling out this form adds your name to a waiting list. Committees are formed in December through February. As committee spots open up, you will be invited to serve on the committee. If you change your mind, you can always decline the invitation at that point. If you have additional questions before signing up, email our
