"I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation" (Philippians 4:12)
Comparing ourselves against the standards of others, is a common problem that most of us do instinctively – even Christians. In our last Bloom session, we discovered the destructive effects of this seemingly small problem. It can rob us from joy in our relationship with God and stop us from truly loving others. Jean Williams describes this heart condition as being: “more like cancer than the common cold…..It eats away at our happiness, our relationships, our very selves.”
However, there is a way to live which allows us to be at peace with ourselves, to love other sincerely and to enjoy life with God.
In the second of a two-part series on finding contentment as Christian women, we will (finally!) hear what God’s Word has to say about the cure for this widespread problem. We will uncover what is the “secret of contentment” – a life of real significance, satisfaction and security - and explore how to live healthy and contented lives in our relationship with God and others.
As always, Bloom sessions are designed to help women grow in understanding how God’s grace should transform various aspects of our lives. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to discover deep and lasting contentment in life!
Please RSVP by 30th of July! This will greatly help with planning and logistics for the event!
We hope to see you there :)
