Thank you for your interest in joining the student Live Events Team for Open Mics + Band Bash. The goal is to keep these events as student-led as possible, providing leadership opportunities in the area of planning, coordination, set-up/breakdown, promotion, and more! Please read the rough role descriptions below and complete the accompanying form to the best of your ability. I will then send a follow-up email to set up the first meeting of the year.

Event Planning & Coordination (1 person)
• Create event themes
• Plan order of acts
• Suggest fun/unique ideas
Stage Manager (1 person)
• Keeps the event on time
• Coordinates Open Mic google doc sign-ups
• Cues performers & acts
BAND BASH
-one per semester (Fall and Spring)
Set-up + Breakdown (2 people)
• Instruments & gear setup
• Backstage organization
• Clean-up afterward
Promotion (1 person)

• Social media posts/stories
