Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Intercultural Community Center's Youth Program! ICC is a nonprofit that supports New Mainers by providing accessible education, health, and social services. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to provide educational and social support to the adults and youth that we serve.
This form is specifically for those who are interested in volunteering either with our Youth Program which consists of Power School (a free afterschool program) and/or Power Summer (a free summer day camp).
Current Needs
- Power Summer: We are currently seeking youth program volunteers for our seven week summer day camp; Power Summer. Power Summer is a free academic support based day camp for Westbrook Middle School students in grades 5-8. Programming is based out Westbrook Middle School. Throughout the summer, students take part in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Environment, Art, and Math) experiments, interactive ELA (English Language Acquisition) projects, outdoor and movement activities, fun filled field trips, and guest speakers. Dates and Times: June 22nd-August 7th, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm
