Current MPS employees or employees of our community partners with a bachelor’s degree who are interested in earning their initial teaching license in Special Education: Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) are encouraged to apply.
You are eligible to apply if you:
---Are currently employed by Minneapolis Public Schools in an unlicensed position or are employed by one of our community partners.
---Have experience working with MPS students and families, preferably in a special education classroom.
--- Have completed or will successfully complete a Bachelor’s degree program by May 2021 from a regionally accredited institution. You can check your institution’s accreditation status here:

---Desire to earn initial teaching license in Special Education- Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS)
