APPLICATION DEADLINEApplications will be reviewed as they are received. Applicants can expect to hear from the CPM Program Director within two weeks of submitting their application. The application will close on Friday, August 1, 2025.
RESUMEPrepare a PDF copy of your resume that includes your educational background, descriptions of all managerial positions you have held, and a description of your current position. Your resume should also include how long you have held the positions and your job responsibilities.
TIME Inform your supervisor of the training requirements. Be sure that you will be available to participate in the program, which involves 300 hours over 2 years. On average, you will be expected to actively participate in approximately one 2-day workshop each month, August through May.
Please note that the required program orientation and first workshop for newly admitted participants will take place in Little Rock on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
PROGRAM FEES AND TRAVEL COSTS
Determine who is responsible for paying the program fees and travel costs: you, your agency/organization, or a combination. Participants are billed for each training they attend. Trainings associated with the CPM program cost $150 for a 1-day workshop and $275 for a 2-day workshop. The cost in program fees for completing the entire CPM program is approximately $4,250 ($2,800 for the first year and $1,450 for the second year).
A discount is available for participants who choose to pre-pay for the program in one lump sum. The discounted rate is $4,000 for all trainings associated with the CPM program. Participants who would like to pre-pay must fill out a pre-payment agreement form and receive approval from APAC. Some of the trainings are held in-person in Little Rock and some are held online. For those living outside of Central Arkansas, we recommend that you include mileage, lodging, and meals for eight 2-day workshops held in Little Rock in your budget (six 2-day workshops during your first year in the program and two 2-day workshops during your second year).
