The Innovation Challenge is a competition that gives young startups an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial thinking and engage in a contest with other startups. Junior Achievement Kenya in partnership with NCBA Bank gives these startups a chance to compete in the global arena.

The competition brings together experienced business mentors and students to advance real-world social problem-solving in their local communities and beyond.

What is the objective of this competition?

It aims to encourage youth who are in University and recent graduates to develop or showcase their already-made transformational innovative solutions that will help solve everyday problems and create positive change. The theme of the Competition

JA Kenya as a member of the UN Global Compact continues to strive to collaborate with its partners to advance sustainable development. It is through this commitment that JA Kenya proposed the theme to be “BREAKING BARRIERS”. The business ideas submitted should fall under the three broad SDGs tracks Economic, Social, and/or Environmental.
