Call for Nominations: Recognizing Excellence in Veteran Education Services

The Western Association of Veterans Education Specialists (WAVES) invites nominations for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Veteran Education Services.

The Diana Davis Service Award For Excellence & Bill Pearson Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award recognize those who embody the WAVES Mission, Vision, and Core Value of "supporting the unique needs of military-affiliated learners".

All award nominations must be received by May 1, 2025 to be considered.

Diana Davis Service Award for Excellence: Eligible nominees are individuals have consistently demonstrated exceptional vision, dedicated service, and outstanding leadership in support of WAVES mission. This award honors those who embody the selfless service exemplified by Ms. Diana Davis.

Bill Pearson Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award: Eligible nominees are any individuals who have made outstanding contributions through active and constructive participation in veterans' organizations, exemplifying a deep commitment to supporting veterans, as modeled by the legacy of Mr. Bill Pearson (WAVES membership is not required)
