July 16, 17, 18, & 19, 2026
You must be a member of the Greater State Street Business Association to participate in Maxwell Street days.
Membership is open to all businesses and property owners located on State Street, the Capitol Square and blocks that have frontage on these areas.
An exclusive use permit is issued to GSSBA through the Common Council and suspends all other vending permits from the 100 – 800 blocks of State Street and the 200 block of North Henry Street for July 16-19, 2026 during event hours. This permit suspends all sidewalk cafes and all vending. You must join GSSBA and also pay the Maxwell Street Days fee to participate.
Membership fees help to support and promote business in the downtown corridor.
Maxwell Street Days fees are used to cover advertising, city permits, supplies, cleanup and other event expenses.
Relocation and second spaces to be assigned after June 30, please note any comments about location concerns or requests below.
Please note that fees are historically $300 to participate in this event. Due to the economic impact of the past few years, GSSBA is offsetting fees for 2026 and fees are reduced to $150 for Maxwell Street Days participation and a membership. It is an additional $50 for each additional booth space. A GSSBA membership without MSD participation is $100. Fees may return to the normal structure in the future.
Payments received after June 18 will be assessed a $100 late fee.
