Senior parking spots to paint are finally on sale! $50 
Spots will be first come first serve on the painting dates. 
Painting Dates:  SUNDAY 9/21 from 8am-8pm, SATURDAY 9/27 and SUNDAY 9/28 from 8am-8pm
You must sign the contract and submit artwork by 9/12 in order to paint on 9/21.

What does having a Senior Parking spot entail?

* Seniors must have a parking permit in order to purchase / paint their spot
* Parking permits must be properly displayed
* This contract pertains to the painting of your parking spot, and does not void your parking permit contract. Both contracts must be followed and will be enforced by Rouse High School.
* Your designated parking spot is yours to park in during the school hours for the duration of the 2025-2026 school year.
*Rouse Admin will NOT be responsible for monitoring parking spots! 

What are the guidelines for the painting and artwork of my parking spot?

Per LISD, painting may NOT include, but is not limited to:

* Offensive language, flags
* Double meaning words
* Nicknames, unless approved by an AP
* No boyfriend or girlfriend names
* Gang related signs / slang
* Negative or rude language
* Political affiliation
* ONLY AP approved artwork

How do I paint my Senior Parking Spot?

Painting materials to bring on the painting dates:

  • Copy of your Senior Painted Parking Spot Contract (this form, a copy of which will be sent upon submission)

  • Copy of your approved artwork/design

  • WATER BASED EXTERIOR LATEX paint

  • Paint brushes & supplies (foam brushes work best on the asphalt)

  • Chalk to outline your design if needed

  • Tape or a ruler to help mark and measure your design within your parking spot if needed

  • Something to block off your spot while it is drying (construction cones or metal folding chairs work best)  

  • Any other materials you’ll need to use to paint with or clean up: paint can opener, stencils, painter’s tape, painting trays, something to sit or kneel on, trash bags for your garbage

When do I paint my parking spot?

Project Graduation painting weekend will take place on 

Sunday SEPTEMBER 21st from 8 am - 8 pm 
Saturday SEPTEMBER 27th from 8 am - 8 pm 
Sunday SEPTEMBER 28th from 8 am - 8 pm

No Painting will be allowed except for on these designated dates (if additional dates are needed we will announce those dates at a later time)
This will be strictly enforced by Rouse Admin.

FEE:  $50

(This DOES NOT include end of the school year painting over the spot. You will be responsible for painting over the spot in white at the end of the year; unless you select the payment option that includes project grad end of year painting. NO PAYMENTS to Project Grad INCLUDE LISD Parking Permit or painting supplies)

RHS Senior parking spot renters are responsible for following campus/district rules, including those on their parking permit contracts. This contract pertains to your parking spot and does not void or replace that contract.

All artwork has to be submitted for AP approval by SEPTEMBER 12TH for 9/21 painting. All artwork has to be submitted for AP approval by SEPTEMBER 19TH for 9/27 and 9/28 painting.

Submitted artwork must be emailed to RHSPaintedParkingSpots@gmail.com. An approval confirmation will be sent via email.  No late artwork will be accepted.  Artwork guidelines will be strictly enforced by LISD and Rouse.

Failure to follow the painting guidelines will result in the student covering the out of pocket expenses to have their spot painted over at the direction of Rouse/LISD.

Should a second incident happen, the student will lose their spot, without a refund, covering out of pocket costs of repainting.  

No painting is permitted until the designated painting days: 9/21 8am-8pm, 9/27 8am-8pm, and 9/28 8am-8pm

Failure to follow the above will result in disciplinary action, and may include the student covering the out of pocket expense of having their spot recovered, losing their parking spot or both (no refunds).

Project Graduation is not responsible or at all liable for the parking spots. That includes but is not limited to: enforcing parking rules, school and district guidelines and/or regulations, property damage, and parking permit rules. All LISD guidelines are to be followed by the student and will be strictly enforced by Rouse High School and LISD. Rouse High School is not responsible for vehicles parking in your spot after school hours or on weekends, or oil leaks as a result. All rules from the parking permit contract are to be followed.  No refunds will be given.  



We will email you to confirm your Senior Parking spot has been reserved after you complete all steps below. All steps must be complete by SEPTEMBER 12th for 9/21 paiting and SEPTEMBER 19th for 9/27 and 9/28 painting.  All spots will be first come first served. So be sure to get there early on painting days and check in to reserve the parking spot you want.

Before you begin painting, you MUST have artwork approved and payment must be made.

All steps must be completed before we approve your request. Spots are assigned first come, first serve.
