Quality of Learning and Engagement  (Short Answer Question)
Throughout Rest you will hear from a primary facilitator along with the possibility of guest presenters and facilitators.

You will explore numerous topics that invite you into spiritual contemplation and personal introspection.

This is by design, and it is to ensure that we deliver content that fuels personal and spiritual revelation, healing, and growth.

In addition to the in-person learning modules, participants in Rest will be asked to engage in assigned readings, podcasts, and sermons.

Participants will also be asked to create a simple ‘bring it back’ project for the final retreat to facilitate the transfer of learning to their lived experience.

Please describe any challenges you may have and your level of commitment to immersing yourself in this learning process.

Faith-based Environment (Short Answer Question)
The Rest curriculum and retreat atmosphere are fundamentally inspired by teachings from the Bible and faith in Jesus Christ.

While participating in Rest you will experience things like group prayer, hearing Christian/Gospel music, learning about God (The Father), Jesus (The Son), and the Holy Spirit.

You will also be asked to discuss principles from Scripture, to read the Bible, and to listen to teachings from sermons / Bible-based teachings.

Describe your level of comfort with and desire to be in an environment like this.
*
Fostering Community and Trust (Short Answer Question)
A key ingredient to the significance of the Rest Retreat is the open and honest dialogue that happens among the participants and the facilitator during the in-person learning modules.

The Rest modules are designed for the participants to engage in conversation with the facilitator and one another.

This is one of the reasons why such care is taken in designing an 8-person cohort.

The retreat fosters an intimate and trusting community experience.

Please describe your level of comfort and willingness to participate in small-group conversations about faith, your passions, disappointments, and goals.
