Credit Recovery Parent Response 2024-2025
Your child is enrolled in Credit Recovery/Student Study Skills lab to work on and complete credit recovery courses. Answer the following questions to verify your understanding of the lab and recovery expectations.
Did you know that there is a $50 fee for EACH quarter during the school year your child has ACCESS to online recovery courses? (courses actually loaded and available for them to complete) *
Did you know that if a student does NOT complete any courses in a quarter, they STILL OWE the $50 fee for access during that quarter? *
Did you know that if your student does not finish their recovery course this quarter, they will be able to continue working next quarter and will be charged the $50 fee for access in the next quarter too? *
Did you know that a student should complete 10-15% progress each week on Recovery Courses to be on track to finish one course per quarter? *
Did you know that a student could complete 2-10 recovery courses each quarter? *
Did you know that a student must complete ONE RC course (.25) but may complete as many RC courses as they possibly can during EACH quarter of school and ATTEND (18 out of 23 days, or 80% of the lab days in SSS) the lab for the RC class .25 elective credit? *
Did you know that if your student misses 10 consecutive days in a row they will be dropped from the class? *
Does your student want to earn the elective .25 credit by attending the lab and doing at least ONE RC course at 100% complete?
