Friends-Stewards of African American Museum and Library at Oakland (FSAAMLO)

Members of the Northern California Coalition National Council of Negro Women have launched the "Preserve our Legacy" campaign where they will attend public community events and engage directly with attendees to secure memberships and monetary donations for four African American museums whose funding and futures are under threat. This effort aims to protect and promote Black history and heritage, aligning directly with NCNW’s mission of leading, advocating, and empowering women of African descent, their families, and communities, and aligning with the Freedom to Read project.
