April 24th Earth Day Clean-up & Activities
Join the Fishtown Neighbors Association at the Fishtown Rec Center to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 24th between 9 AM and 12 pm! We will have a clean-up, Kindness Rocks Art Project, Spring "Seed-Bomb" Hunt, and Mindfulness Sessions.

Clean-Up: The FNA has some supplies to share like trash grabbers, brooms, and trash bags. We will be distributing these at Fishtown Rec the morning of the 24th at 9:00 AM on a first-come-first-serve basis. We ask that you please organize your clean-up between 9 am - noon. If you'd like to be the point person to organize your block, just fill out this form and we'll get in touch soon.

Kindness Rocks: Rock Fishtown with Kindness! Create your own "kindness rocks" to leave in select neighborhood spaces. We will have river rocks and paint pens available for people to decorate rocks with kind words and designs.

Mindfulness Sessions: We will be running two Mindfulness sessions. One in the morning for teens and adults and one in the afternoon for families with children. Facilitated by Stacey Mandel, Fishtown resident and certified mindfulness practitioner and medicinal aromatherapist.

Scavenger Hunt: We will have a spring hunt through the Rec Center where kiddos can search to find "Seed Bombs". If they find one, they can show us at the table to receive candy!
