BNAG ResiliArt Survey
April 15th marks UNESCO World Art Day, and in tandem with the UNESCO ResiliArt debate, the Barbados National Art Gallery would like to hear from Barbadian artists! The ResiliArt debate brings together artists and key industry actors to sound the alarm on the impact of COVID-19 on the livelihoods of artists and cultural professionals. The debate is designed to inform the development of policies and financial mechanisms that can help creators and communities overcome the crisis. Many artists and cultural professionals in Barbados have always had to find creative ways of maintaining their practice in our local context, and this pandemic has again given rise to a new challenge which requires innovative ways of connecting with the public and sharing their practice during this time of restriction and confinement. Share your experiences via the survey below, and you can also post a message of artistic resilience on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #ResiliArt
