A Forum on Business, Culture, and Connection

Japan–AR is a two-day convening of leaders from Arkansas and Japan focused on strengthening economic partnerships and cultural exchange.
Friday at the Hot Springs Convention Center features national and state perspectives on U.S.–Japan engagement, a keynote from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, business panels with Japanese companies operating in Arkansas, and discussions on language education, agriculture, and global trade. The day concludes with a tour and reception at Origami Sake.
Saturday includes programming at the Port of Little Rock examining Arkansas’s role in international trade, followed by participation in the Spring Sakura Matsuri at the Arkansas Agricultural Museum.
Presented by the Committee for Japan America Society of Arkansas, the Hot Springs Sister City Program, and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, with funding from the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., in partnership with the National Association of Japan America Societies.
