The CU Boulder Sustainability Council is a cross-campus group of students, faculty and staff established in 2022. The Council’s purpose is to make recommendations regarding policies, programs, initiatives and investments to advance sustainability. These recommendations augment the work of the more recently formed Campus Sustainability Executive Council.
The Sustainability Council invites the CU Boulder community
to engage with the council and provide ideas for how to make our campus more sustainable. While the ideas may also relate to the GHG
reduction goals of the Climate Action Plan (CAP), the Council seeks ideas that
are separate from the CAP.
The current priorities of the Council are: plastics and zero waste, food and transportation.
