2019 ULI Boston Pathways to Inclusion Application
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the institute has more than 40,000 members worldwide representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines.

The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative is a partnership between the Builders of Color Coalition and African-American Real Estate Professionals New England (AAREP) and is designed to broaden ULI membership and expand the professional networks of minority developers and land use professionals in the Boston metro area.

The Pathways to Inclusion program will provide up to 15 individuals of color a scholarship to the 2019 Fall Meeting to be held in Washington D.C. September 18 - 21, 2019 in addition to a one-year ULI membership. This is a value of more than $2,700. After the conclusion of the Fall Meeting, the program will provide three cohort convenings during the one-year program to create structured connections to key Boston real estate leaders.
Hotel accommodations and travel are not included in the program.

The Annual Fall Meeting brings together over 6,000 land use and real estate professionals from around the globe.

Eligible Participants:
The Pathways to Inclusion initiative is designed to increase participation of groups who are underrepresented in the land use and real estate fields, defined as being African American/African descent, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Middle Eastern and Asian descent. Pathways Applicants must live in the Boston metropolitan area and be able to attend the Fall Meeting (September 18 - 21, 2019) Hotel accommodations and travel are not included in the program offerings.
