Create a project: One of the responsibilities of the Youth Advisory Council is to identify ways for KLCB to engage youth participation. If you were to create a service project to celebrate or promote the mission of Keep Lee County Beautiful in the areas of litter prevention/clean community, beautification/community greening and/or waste reduction/recycling, what would it look like? Make sure to demonstrate your creativity and include as many of the following as possible: 1) A brief description of the project and why you would do this specific project 2) Who the service project would benefit 3) What organization(s) could partner on your project 4) How you would promote your service project 5) How you would gather resources or fundraiser to support your project 6) How you would recruit volunteers and how would you engage youth that have traditionally not been engaged 7) What are the anticipated outcomes or the impact of your project.
