The success of Al Falah Center is dependent on each of us working together toward a common goal. That goal is to build and sustain a vibrant Muslim community and masjid for ourselves and our children, insha’Allah. In this light, we are in the process of updating our volunteer list and revamping our committees. This is a chance to reenergize the masjid and all of us. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer or being considered for a committee position, please fill out the form below!
We will share your information with the appointed committee chair, who will reach out to you to discuss the best ways for you to be involved.
Committees vs. Volunteers - what’s the difference?
To serve as a
committee member, you must be 18 years or older. Additionally, according to the bylaws, the number of members on each committee is limited to 7 members; committee members must be GA members; and members may not simultaneously serve on a committee in which an immediate family member and/or business partner is serving.
Volunteers, on the other hand, are not restricted by number, GA membership, or family/business relationships. Furthermore, volunteering does not mean a huge time commitment. Even a few hours a month can make a big difference. There are tasks to fit your time schedule and interest. We even have tasks that don’t involve leaving your house so anyone can be involved!
