Morris Tree Steward Training
Morris is hosting its first ever Tree Steward training in April to teach you basic tree care skills to improve the public forest of Morris and ensure tree growth to maturity. We will cover best planting practices, watering, tree health monitoring, plant selection, and basic pruning skills. After training, the City of Morris will share opportunities to volunteer in the community for you to apply these skills and help your community. Details about the training can be found below:

Location: Morris Senior/Community Center - 603 Oregon Avenue
Cost: Free!
What to bring: Dress for the weather, sturdy, closed-toe shoes, gloves optional but suggested.
