INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE

The JIMMY course is designed to develop new skills in the field of youth information and counselling for youth workers or other professionals working with young people, e.g. deans, mentors, or tutors.

The course is a basic training on youth information which enables participants to answer most of the more frequent questions of young people; makes them familiar with several suitable information reference materials and teaches the use of a special interview method which is used in youth information work.

Apart from assignments on the e-Learning platform DOYIT, the course includes three compulsory webinars:

  • Kick-off webinar: 7 October (Monday), 15-16:30 CET;
  • Mid-term webinar: 21 October (Monday), 15-16:30 CET; and
  • Closing webinar: 4 November (Monday), 15-16:30 CET.
