𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗘 - 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 - is a non-formal education project for music business students and european music venues.

The aim of this call is to identify 3 Music Venues based in Europe to be an active part of the project and to co-organise, alongside the METE team, educational activities for the selected students, sharing with them best practices and the knowledge about the local music ecosystem.

The music venues we are going to select will also have the opportunity to connect to each-other and to share good practices and common values.

Thanks to this project the venues will have the opportunity to assume a greater role in city dynamics, especially related to cultural tourism, and to increase their local and international awareness.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗢?

The selected venues will commit to:

welcome the students during the 5-day stay and let them participate in a live show
organize with the METE team some activities to share with the students the best practices the venue is implementing and the knowledge about the music city ecosystem
identify a local Mentor, an expert in the local music scene, who will be available during the 5 days of the trip to organize activities with the selected students
Print and distribute in the venue and in the city the 1000 maps of the local music scene created by the METE team and selected students.

To implement these activities the METE project will provide a maximum budget of 2.000€ to cover i.e. the following expenses to be agreed upon beforehand: project Mentor and venue activities, printing and distribution of 1.000 local music scene maps.

Thanks to 3 unconventional trips for 12 music business students and the involvement of 3 music venues, METE has the vision to give future music business professionals more innovative and on-the-job training programs.

METE wants to underline how crucial is for future music business professionals to learn and experience good practices, especially related to environmental sustainability, social cohesion and local community inclusion.
