How does it work?
The idea is that we have people swimming continuously for 24 hours to launch the Lakes to Level Water event.
To take part, use the form below to sign up:
1. Either sign up a whole team who will swim for the full 24 hours
2. Or pick an hour-long slot or as many hour-long slots as you like -- enter your name on the spreadsheet
3. Or split an hour with one or two other people (half an hour or twenty minutes each) -- enter the lead person's names on the spreadsheet.
Once you've signed up, either set up a donation page to raise funds yourself through sponsorship from friends and family, or make a donation to the Team Clevedon page:
Funds raised will be split between Level Water and Clevedon Marine Lake.
Use the spreadsheet to enter your name or team. Please enter your name in an empty box. If you want to enter a whole team, add your team name at the top of an empty column and team members in the column beneath it.
I understand that this is an informal charity swim, not an organised event. I recognise that swimming in cold water carries risks, and I accept those risks as my own. I confirm that I, and my team members, are physically fit and able to swim, and that we won't attempt anything beyond our capabilities. I understand that the nighttime slots will not be lit and I agree to bring my own lights and someone to watch from the side. I understand that the lake will be open to the public throughout the entire swim, and I will be courteous to other lake users.
I swim at my own risk
I have set up a fundraising page or donated to the Clevedon team page
